WE STAND WITH BRITISH VALUES AND VOW TO DEFEND THEM IN OUR HOME AND ABOARD.
Britons in Hong Kong is an organisation founded in August 2019 in the wake of the Hong Kong political turbulences. We take actions to urge the UK government to support Hongkongers in our darkest hour.
We stand with universal values and advocate for the rights of British National (Overseas).

WHAT WE DO
The United Kingdom is a co-signatory of the Sino-British Joint Declaration and bears historical, moral and legal responsibilities to Hong Kong. We prompt ourselves to raise British awareness to the darkest hours in Hong Kong, foster the bonds between Hong Kong and Britain and advocate British actions in assisting Hong Kong’s fight for freedom.

SPEAKING UP
WHAT WE DO
We believe a democratic government should listen to its people' voice. We constantly raise issues about Hong Kong and British National (Overseas) through petitions to the UK government.
Determined to fight for a just cause, we move to show where we stand. We organise rallies to remind the UK that there are many British Nationals in Hong Kong that expect their countries to defend Hong Kong and British Nationals (Overseas) rights.
Expressing our minds and concerns to the UK helps to clear any unknown and uncertainties on Hong Kong, allowing swift and prompt actions.
We speak up for the matters regarding Hong Kong situation, British National (Overseas) etc.
“Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.”
― Winston Churchill
“Get up, stand up for your rights. Get up, stand up, don't give up the fight”
― Bob Marley
“Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence.”
― Leonardo da Vinci
WHY WE DO?

British National (Overseas):
A status of injustice and discrimination?
WHY WE DO?
A status of injustice and discrimination.
British National (Overseas):
-
No right of Abode
-
No right to work or living in UK (and anywhere else)
-
No right to pass on Nationality
The creation of the British National (Overseas) nationality was meant to maintain the linkage between the UK and Hong Kong. However, since June 2019, BHK saw little effect on the status, which is why BHK believes BN(O) is a wrong needed to be right.
