Petition "Not My National Day"

Britons In Hong Kong held the petition 'Not My National Day' on 1st October 2019 at 12:30 pm.  Over a hundred people participated and raised the Union Jack Flag despite the transportation difficulty . This event, took place on the Chinese National Day, aims to urge Her Majesty's government to take action on Joint Declaration being breached according to the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, take action in the United Nations, and prioritise humanitarian crisis of Hong Kong on top of its political and economic deals with China. We also reinforced our identity as British. Our speaker led the crowd to chant slogans and sang British National anthem and British patriotic songs.
